At Performing Arts Preparatory School, our dedication to motivating and inspiring young artists is the moving force behind the implementation of our bi-annual field trips. These bonding opportunities give our students the wonderful opportunity to gain knowledge and expand their horizons through immersive excursions. Our field trips align with the season’s theme, with this quarter’s Fall Field Trip reflecting our theme “All The World’s A Stage”. With this overarching theme, we are exploring the beauty and sophistication of international music and dance.

We Had A Blast at Los Quetzales Dance Ensemble’s Traditional Mexican Dance Class!
Students learned simple, technical, and rhythmic footwork patterns and basic dance movements of Mexican Folkloric Dance. The class included brief historical facts about the culture, traditions, music, and dance of Mexico. Students also learned about the various styles of Mexican Folkloric dance, along with learning about rhythm, artistic expression, and projection.
