    Myra Gee is a multitalented artist that hails from the DMV. She started her journey at the age of 10 as a natural born freestyle dancer. Currently, Myra is an experienced, professional dancer, choreographer, and director with over 10 years of experience. Myra has graced countless stages, music videos, music festivals, concerts, appearing on BET and most recently, touring with Master P and the No Limit Soldiers as choreographer and assistant creative director.

    Myra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Production and a Masters degree in Leadership in her arsenal. Myra continues to be profoundly active in her community. She teaches at various studios, holds workshops, and provides mentorship for the youth. Ultimately, Myra believes dancing is not just movement, dance is about communication, personal expression, transformation and connection. Dancing is a freedom, and you can choose to be anything you desire.

  • Erniz Quiles-Cruz

    Specialties: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Bomba

    Since 1991, Erniz Quiles- Cruz, has taught students all over the world , ballet, jazz, modern dance, tap, and cultural dances. She has had the honor of imparting her experience and wisdom to thousands of children and youth, many of whom followed in her footsteps and became professional choreographers, teachers, studio owners, and dancers.

    Erniz holds her M.A from Theatre University of Turabo, Gurabo, Puerto Rico and is a current educator at The Phoenix International School of The Arts (PISOTA). She has choreographed students for dance competitions, frequently obtaining first place prizes as well as receiving awards for best costume and global performance.

    She is proud to say that her several of her students haved moved forward in their careers to audition for intensive ballet and dance theater programs and were all accepted and are working in a career in dance as teachers, owners of professional dance academies in different recognized companies, and choreographers of urban artists and tropical music.

    Teaching dance is her greatest passion and she dedicates herself to each lesson to ensure that student progress can be seen in their results. What she finds most rewarding is training dancers and human beings with a calling to contribute positively to society.

  • Taylor Matthews

    Specialties: African, Zumba, Hip Hop, Horton Ballet, Liturgical

    Taylor Matthews has been an active performing arts instructor and mentor for 12 years. She began her studies of dance at the Living Soul Worshiping Arts Center in 2003. By 2009, she took up dance studies, including West African Sunu, Horton Ballet, Jazz, and Modern Contemporary dance, at Joy of Motion Dance Center in Washington, DC. She is an original member of the Step Ahead Dance Ensemble. There, she was also introduced to the world-famous "Step Afrika." Today, she maintains connections and mentorship with their long-time Stage Manager/Director, Kendall Arin, whom she has worked with for over ten years. She mentored youth for organizations, such as the Washington Middle School for Girls, DC, Harvest Life Fellowship Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and The Deliverance Church of Christ III through performing arts. Ms. Matthews is also a certified choreographer, scriptwriter, and playwright. In 2018, she had the privilege of participating in the sold-out recreation of the profound musical “The Wiz”, with Purple September Productions, where she served as one of the fantastic writers of the script, the beloved role of “The Tin Lady”, and choreographer of the renowned number, “No Bad News.” She continues to support the company in the performance and teaching of both musical theater and dance while leading the Dance Ministry at Life City Church International.

    Recently, she was given the honor of composing an address to the 5-Star rated Author Antoinette Brazelton's first book, "Dear Africa", which she performed as a dramatic spoken word called Africa's Address at the book's launch. Her choreography and performances have also graced many stages, such as the Atlas Theatre of Washington, DC, and the Bowie Center of Performing Arts.
