Private Music Lessons
Our one-on-one music and music theory lessons are tailored to give you the tools, skills, and structure you need to thrive as a musician. You’ll be paired with one of our expert instructors who will plan your lessons around your goals, schedule, learning style, and interests.
Whether you prefer to learn from the comfort of your home or study in-studio, our Performing Arts Preparatory School faculty are well-equipped to guide you on your journey as a musician.
We provide private music instruction in sessions of 4 weeks or a quarter spanning 11 weeks.
In-Studio Music Lessons
In-studio private lessons are designed to give individualized training to students looking to hone their skills and develop into well-rounded musicians. Lessons are conducted weekly in half-hour, forty-five minutes, or full-hour sessions at our St.Charles Towne Center studio.
Our performing arts school provides students with a unique and inspiring learning experience. With dedicated and experienced instructors, students can develop their skills and passion for the arts. With a minimum of 5 weeks of study, students are eligible to showcase their talents in our quarterly recitals, where they can perform in front of an audience and receive feedback from their peers and instructors. We provide private music instruction in sessions of 4 weeks or a quarter spanning 11 weeks.

*The rates below are charged every four (4) or eleven (11) weeks, depending on your selected program, for the total amount of lessons in your program.

Virtual Lessons
We provide an easy way to access quality live virtual music instruction. Our lessons provide training for Piano, Voice, Guitar, Violin, Cello, and genres ranging from classical, jazz, musical theater, R&B, and pop. We are trained and equipped to teach students of all skill levels and ages.

In-Studio Lessons
VOICE
Our private voice lesson programs give our students access to personalized 1-on-1 vocal training with a professional instructor and performing artist. Lessons are held once a week, featuring a customized curriculum that meets the student at their current skill level. These lessons provide students with the tools and support necessary to develop and maintain healthy techniques and practice strategies while exploring the repertoire that interests them.
Skills Developed: Proper Breathing, Tone, Pitch, Agility, Diction, and more.

CELLO
Private cello lessons are an opportunity to delve into the soulful sounds of this magnificent instrument. With one-on-one guidance from a skilled instructor, you'll have the chance to develop a deep and personal connection to the cello. Each lesson is tailored to your individual needs, providing a customized experience that helps you progress at your own pace. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, private lessons offer a chance to tap into the full potential of your musical abilities and create a unique and powerful voice on the cello. Get ready to be swept away by the rich, warm tones of this timeless instrument.

PIANO
We offer our students classical piano lessons featuring Royal Conservatory Curriculum. In this program, students work on their craft with a professional instructor and performing pianist. Lessons are held once a week and are tailored to each student and their learning style. Instructors work closely with the student and their goals to develop lesson plans that engage and teach them the necessary skills to develop and maintain their musicianship.

GUITAR
Private guitar lessons are ideal for beginner students as well as skilled guitarists. With personalized 1-on-1 training with a professional instructor and performing artist, you’ll be given all the tools and feedback needed to play your favorite songs or to pen your own. Our lessons include training for electric, acoustic, and bass guitar and are held once a week. *Exclusively Online, In-Studio Availability TBA

VIOLIN
Students take a deep dive into classical violin with this hands-on curriculum. In this program, students work on their craft with a professional instructor and trained violinist. Lessons are held once a week and are tailored to each student and their learning style. Instructors work closely with the student and their goals to develop lesson plans that engage and teach them the necessary skills to develop and maintain their musicianship.

DRUMS
Our private drum lessons are individualized sessions designed for students who want to improve their drumming skills and pursue their passion for music. The lesson will be taught by a professional and experienced drum teacher who will evaluate the student's current ability and create a customized lesson plan to meet their specific needs and goals. The lesson includes various techniques and styles of drumming, elements of music theory, history, and performance skills, as well as opportunities to interact with other students and participate in school events and concerts. The private lessons aim to help the student grow as musicians and performers and provide them with the tools and skills they need to succeed in the world of music.

FLUTE
Our private flute lessons are designed to be both challenging and rewarding, helping the student make consistent progress and grow as a musician.The lessons typically start with a warm-up session, where the student will practice basic finger and breath control exercises to get their instrument and muscles ready for playing. Throughout the lesson, the teacher will work with the student on various aspects of flute playing, including tone production, technique, music theory, and sight-reading. The teacher will provide guidance and feedback, helping the students refine their playing and reach their full potential. The student will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of repertoire, from classical pieces to popular songs, and receive advice on performance practice and stage presence.

CLARINET
Our private clarinet lessons are lessons designed for students who want to improve their technique, theory and performance skills. The lesson will be taught by a professional and experienced instructor who will evaluate the student's current ability and create a customized lesson plan to meet their specific needs and goals. The lesson includes the study of proper technique, elements of music theory, history, and performance skills, as well as opportunities to interact with other students and participate in school events and concerts. With lessons designed to help the student grow as musicians and performers, we have no doubt that an aspiring clarinetist could benefit from the program.
